All teams are encouraged to coordinate costumes or you can just wear your fun halloween costume for this. Please remember no jewelry or additional “gear” is allowed on the field during the match. No swords, shields, hard / loose hats, jewelry etc. We encourage you wear things like face paint and bandanas. No player will be permitted to play if they have anything on them that could hurt themselves or another player during their game. Please bring their uniforms incase they are asked to change for the match and make sure your child is wearing their shin guards & cleats!

Request for roster changes are not guaranteed. Once you have received your initial response about the decision, do not continue to appeal the decision unless you feel as though it is a true error. If you register late or skipped a season, it will be very difficult to move these rosters around. There are multiple people involved who have volunteered their time into getting this done for everyone! When we get multiple requests about changes it slows us all down and takes the focus off of whats priority right now!

This will help our office staff complete placement and get rosters ready for all our coaches! We should have rosters handed out within the next few days, as long as your coach has completed their safesport and backround check requirements!

EASTERN LITTLE LEAGUE NIGHT WITH THE Abilene Flying Bison 🦬🪽⚾️🏟️🎟️
Thank you to all who were able to make it out to the game last night. We were able to get some pictures of players during the night. We had players that represented 5 of our age divisions. Some of players got to participate in two in between inning games, get some autographs, and they got to have fun at the ballpark which it’s ultimately all about. On top of that they got to see two long bombs 💣 hit and saw the home team get a “W” over the Sherman Shadowcats to improve to 24-9 in the Mid America League.
Thank you to the Abilene Flying Bison organization for having us over last night. It was a great atmosphere and we look forward to doing it again next year. From all of us at Eastern Little League, good luck to you all on the rest of your season, GO BISON!!!

Summer sessions: Week 4- we still have availability to start new skaters! And add to our advanced skill sessions. This week we will be focusing on skating and puck handling in detail. As we are working on these we are also working on conditioning. Conditioning will help as we start our fall season in August. Pricing $10.00 per session, $25.00 per week. If you have questions send us a private message or come by the rink between 6-9pm June 24th, 2024.
This Saturday we will have Drew Westbrook and Mikayla Ward as guest instructors! Although we have a solid program we are working on finding ways to improve not only our players but our coaching. We look forward to growing with you! SEE YOU AT THE RINK!

– Singles will be played on Saturday

Addtionally, ATA is partnering with Adventure Cove water park! Each UTR player will receive 3 admission tickets, free of charge, to attend Adventure Cove on Saturday night from 7:30pm-9:30pm. You will receive your Adventure Cove tickets when you check in for the UTR.
Concerning extenuating situations for time-slots/match times, it is the obligation of each player to ensure they are available for their matches as assigned by the Tournament Director (TD). Requests to have alternate match times will be reviewed and honored at the TD’s discretion based on the tournament schedule and other factors they deem appropriate.
Additionally, to remain consistent with USTA’s regulation, there will be no coaching players by coaches, parents, family, friends, etc. unless it is between the 2nd and 3rd sets.

Rose Park Tennis Center– no March update
Dear Friends:
We are gearing up for several tennis tournaments that will be hosted in Abilene in 2024 by the ATA. With your sponsorship we can make this a successful year for many young tennis players in the Abilene Community.
We awarded numerous scholarships to our schools, thanks to our generous sponsors. We also were able to safely host many of our tennis tournaments by implementing proper safety procedures enforced by USTA. These tournaments have such an important impact on our community’s economics.
With Sponsors such as you, it helps us to continue hosting these great events. This last year we also hosted an Adult Sectional Tournament and a L5 Adult Tournament. We had two different league teams qualify for the National Tournament. ATA gives each team $1,000 to help with travel expenses.
Your Sponsorship also helps us to continue to grant college scholarships and fund equipment to AISD and WISD and the
surrounding area schools tennis programs. It also is a huge contributor to our ATA junior tennis banquets in which it covers over 600 players and parents. Last year we helped each High School host their own tennis banquet with their middle schools. These 3 separate banquets were a huge success.

Your donation will enable ATA to continue to give to the community for programming for youth and adult tennis to enhance the programming and grow the game of tennis We hope that you will consider a sponsorship for this wonderful cause.

Coaches and parents.
We have decided to make the decision to push the spring season back by 1 week due to coaches needing to complete background checks and safesport so that we can release contact sheets and rosters to them. The background checks are taking longer to come back this season than expected. We will now start the season on 3/2/24 and not this weekend to give those teams that are waiting on coaches to get started. With us using that weekend which was built in as a weather make up weekend if we have a weekend of weather cancellation we will make those up the second weekend of May. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate the patience while we work around all the request we have had from coaches. We now plan on having the schedule out later this so we can make the changes that are needed. Have a great weekend and we can’t wait to see you on the pitch.

Registration is for those who attend Stafford Elementary, Purcell Elementary, Thomas Elementary, Taylor Elementary, Bowie Elementary, Abilene Christian Schools or Craig Middle School 6th grade only or live within those schools boundaries. **We will take registrations from anyone outside of our League’s established boundaries but if your child is being registered in the Minors/Marjors division and resides outside league boundaries, please note that your child will not be All-Star Eligible. Open January 1-February 4
Opening Ceremonies- March 17th
Closing Ceremonies- May 15th
Mark your calendars for Spring registration and tryout dates, they are right around the corner. All registration is online for all 6 divisions of play. Fees per division are listed below and include the City of Abilene mandated $20 User Use Fee. The child’s age as of August 31, 2024 will determine which division they will play in…
Challengers – Anyone age 5-50 with a mental or physical disability. This is a unique division offered through Little League Baseball, Inc so these people can enjoy the game of baseball. This is the only one offered in Abilene and surrounding area and it’s a joy to watch them play. ($45)
TBall: 4-5 year olds ($90)
Coach Pitch: 6-7 year olds ($110)
Farm/Machine Pitch: 7-8 year olds ($110)
Minors: 9-10 year olds ($150)
Majors: 11-12 year olds ($150)
Flexibility will be taken into consideration depending on skill level and slots open when it’s time for the player draft.
Eastern’s boundaries are open up to anyone who resides close to the following schools (Stafford Elementary, Purcell Elementary, Taylor Elementary, Thomas Elementary, Bowie Elementary, Abilene Christian Schools and Craig Middle School (6th grade only). Also includes Mann Middle School (6th grade only) for those who went to one of the elementary schools listed above. We will also accept anyone outside league boundaries just note that they will not be post-season/All-Star Tournament Eligible.
We look forward to seeing you all again and looking forward to another great year at Eastern Little League.

Today is the day!!! Registration for our Spring 2024 season is now open and will run through Wednesday, January 31st.
We currently offer divisions for players league age 5-14.
Cost of registration is $100 for coach pitch and $150 for all other divisions.
Players will be offered divisions based on their league age. Please use the chart above or link below to determine your players league age to know what division they will participate in. https://www.littleleague.org/play…/determine-league-age/
NO LATE registrations will be accepted so please use the link below to register today!
Please note that there is a place in the registration where you can indicate if your player would like to be considered to play up one league age. Moving up is NOT guaranteed and players will ONLY be moved up IF additional numbers are needed to round out teams in the division above them.
Please also mark your calendars for Saturday, February 3rd for player evaluations. Coach pitch and machine pitch players will not be evaluated this year. Evaluations are Required for Minor & Major divisions. Intermediate & Junior division evaluations will be determined at a later date.
