SUMMARY:Hot Shots League
DESCRIPTION:Monday Evenings– Oct. 20th -Dec. 1st   \nBoys/Girls- Age Groups 5-6\, 7-8\, 9-10\, 11-12 years old \nThursday is a possible playing night if we overfill. \nThis is a progressive\, practice/play league. The first 20 minutes of each Monday will allow time for a team practice followed by games. This progressive approach allows for young players to build their fundamental skills of passing\, shooting\, rebounding and defense\, while also learning strategies of the game through league play. Players will register as individuals and will be placed on teams by AYSA staff. \nThe first night of league\, Monday October 20th\, will be just a practice for the team!! \nTime slots will be sent out closer to the season start time. \nEach player will be given a jersey. Volunteer coaches are required for this league. Please contact us at info@abileneysa.org if you are interested in coaching your child’s team or a team in general. \nIMPORTANT PAYMENT UPDATE: \nTo ensure a smooth start for all our programs\, league payments are now due two weeks before the program begins or a $20 late fee will be added to late registrations. If payment is not completed before the the start date\, participants will not be allowed to take part in the program.
