Here is what will be included: \nServing: Footwork\, armswing mechanics\, building confidence\, working on core power\, jump serving for advanced players. \nHitting: Introduction to approaches and transitions\, armswing mechanics\, jumping for height and power. \nPassing/Defense: Proper technique and footwork\, controlling where the pass goes\, and moving quickly to the ball. \nSetting: Introduction to setting techniques and proper hand contact on the ball. \nGames: We will be playing small mini-games each day to utilized the skills that have been presented. This can be serving games\, short-court games\, wave-through and rotation games.

DESCRIPTION:March 11th-12th \nAge Groups: Grades 4-6\, 9am-11am/Grades 7-8\, 12-2pm \nOur volleyball spring break camp is intended to cover every skill of the game of volleyball for your young athlete. This camp is for beginners as well as for those that have been playing for several years. DESCRIPTION:Monday Evenings-Feb. 26th -Apr. 8th (1 hr. segments from 5pm-9pm) \nNo games will take place during the week of AISD spring break. \nGirls/Boys-Age Groups: 6-8\, 9-10\, 11-12\, 13-14 \nThis is a bring your team League. Your team must provide a coach. There will be a 30 minute\, coach-led\, practice built in to each game night. This will be a shared practice with another team on the same court. \nLimited team spots are available for each age group\, so be sure to register your team early to secure a spot. \nYou must turn in a completed roster that will then allow your team members to register online. Each team member will receive an email explaining how to register online once you have completed the roster portion of registration. \nFree Agent option! As a free agent you will be placed on a team with other free agents. \nFree Agent teams will not have a coach assigned to them by AYSA\, so a parent must be willing to step up and coach for their child’s team. \nPlease let me know if you are willing to coach!
