SUMMARY:Volleyball All-Skills Camp (3rd-6th Grade)
DESCRIPTION:July 28th-30th \n 9am-12pm \nAge Groups: Entering 3rd-6th Graders \nOur volleyball all-skills camp is intended to cover every skill of the game of volleyball for your young athlete. This camp is for beginners as well as for those that have been playing for several years. Here is what will be included: \nServing: Footwork\, armswing mechanics\, building confidence\, working on core power\, jump serving for advanced players. \nHitting: Introduction to approaches and transitions\, armswing mechanics\, jumping for height and power. \nPassing/Defense: Proper technique and footwork\, controlling where the pass goes\, and moving quickly to the ball. \nSetting: Introduction to setting techniques and proper hand contact on the ball. \nGames: We will be playing small mini-games each day to utilized the skills that have been presented. This can be serving games\, short-court games\, wave-through and rotation games. \nAYSA PAYMENT POLICY: \nAll payments must be completed before the first day of camp. For those who have not paid by the first day of camp\, a $10 late fee will be added. (This includes any walk-up registrations on the first day of camp.

SUMMARY:Late Night League
DESCRIPTION:The Late Night Basketball Program will be held at Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center. It is FREE\, but registration is required; Register quickly (first come\, first served) to ensure your spot is secured. Prior to games starting each night\, the Abilene Youth Sports Authority will host an educational talk to benefit the players; and players must be present for each speaker in order to participate. \nYou will be placed on a team and you will learn to adapt and compete from playing with new people. The last night of this league will end in a tournament style play. \nTuesday’s and Thursday’s from 7:00-11:00 p.m. July 8th to July 31st\, 2025 \n12-18 years old \nIf you have questions\, contact us at info@abileneysa.org.
